IFD FRAUD-SIGNAL EVALUATION WORKSHEET Use this worksheet to prepare a useful first conversation. Describe the workflow without including customer records or sensitive account information. 1. THE DECISION Which action are you trying to assess? Where in the customer journey does the decision occur? What can your team do at that moment: allow, review, verify, limit a benefit or escalate? 2. THE PROBLEM What harm or operational burden are you investigating? Which examples are confirmed, which are suspected and which remain unexplained? What legitimate activity could look similar? 3. CURRENT EVIDENCE Which account, contact, identity, device, network or transaction signals are available? When do they arrive, and who can see them? Where does the reviewer lose context? 4. THE PROPOSED SIGNAL What specific question should the new data help answer? What does the provider measure directly, and what does it infer? How are missing, uncertain or stale results represented? Which markets and user types need to be represented in testing? 5. EVALUATION OUTCOMES Record whether the new evidence changes a meaningful decision. Compare confirmed abuse, legitimate completion, uncertain cases and review effort. Include legitimate privacy tools, shared devices and ordinary customer retries where relevant. Avoid treating a higher alert count as a successful result by itself. 6. PRACTICAL FIT Required response time: Integration work: Data freshness and coverage requirements: Volume and billable-event assumptions: Testing or product charges to confirm: Operational owner: NEXT STEP Work with Identity Flow Data to review your workflow and identify useful evaluation options.
